چکیده
Objectives: The aim of this ongoing randomized-controlled study is to examine the effects exercise training interventions with different intensities on peak capacity and body composition in adult people Cystic Fibrosis (pwCF). Methods: Up now 17 pwCF (10f/7 m) mean age 35 ± 5yrs (22–57yrs), ppFEV1 66.0 16.3%pred. (43.0–99.0%pred.) participated. Cycle-ergometry (Godfrey-protocol) was used determine oxygen uptake (VO2peak) workload (Wpeak). Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) assess composition. Patients were randomly matched either High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) or Moderate- Intensity Continuous (MICT) group stratified by lung disease severity (i.e., 40–70% pred. >70% pred.). frequency 3 sessions/week for 4 weeks a cycle ergometer (HIIT: intensity 10 bouts 1 min, 90% VO2peak followed active rest 2 min 40% VO2peak; MICT 30 constant load 60% VO2peak). data assessed during 4-week in-patient rehabilitation course two specialised CF institutions. Results: In both groups intervention had slight, non-significant (p > .05) ppFEV1, weight, BMI aspects statistical revealed an improvement Wpeak (VO2peak +15.4%, +12.4%, p < but only minor changes seen HIIT +8.0%, +1.2%, .05). Conclusion: seem have similar clinical outcomes capacity. This could be explained due lower at baseline that might led higher parameters such as Wpeak. No adverse observed neither after nor HIIT, suggesting programs are feasible pwCF. However, small number cases, results should interpreted caution.

Introduction: Cardiotoxicity is an unavoidable complication after chemotherapy. The present study investigated the effect of 12 weeks of aerobic exercise (high-intensity interval training or moderate-intensity continuous training) with and without blood flow restriction on some anthropometric indices in women with breast cancer who had chemotherapy-induced cardiotoxicity. Methods: Twenty breas...
متن کاملEffect of 4 Weeks Preconditioning with High Intensity Interval Training and Moderate Intensity Continuous Training on Brain Levels of TNF-Α and TLR4 in Male Wistar Rats
Introduction: Inflammation in the brain is known as neuroinflammation and increases TNF-α (Tumor necrosis factor alpha) secretion and activates the TLR4 (Toll-like receptor 4) pathway. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of 4 weeks preconditioning with high intensity intermittent training (HIIT) and moderate intensity training (MICT) on TNF-α and TLR4 levels in male Wistar rats. M...

متن کاملThe Effect of UCP2 45bp Insersi/Delesi Genetic Variation on the Body Composition of Woman with Obesity in Continuous Training and High-Intensity Interval Training: A Randomized Controlled Trial Study
Background. Continuous Training (CT) is often considered an effective way to reduce obesity. However, recently, a popular protocol called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) has shown up as an alternative to CT. There is another factor affecting obesity named UCP2 45-bp Insersion/Deletion genetic marker. Objectives. This research aims to determine the effect of the UCP2 45-bp I/D gene as a...
